Art historian, writer, and independent curator Elsa Delage has worked as project coordinator at Bétonsalon (Paris) and assisted several curators at both the Palais de Tokyo (Paris) and the Musée d’art moderne de la ville de Paris/ARC (Paris). On the other side of the Atlantic, she has been involved with the Darling Foundry (Montreal), the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts (San Francisco), and the project space Roberta Pelan (Toronto). Meanwhile, she has participated in various publishing projects in collaboration with artists, and has written texts for Palais Magazine, Esse arts + opinions, Jeune Création, and Flammarion. In 2015, with Anais Lepage, she co-curated Kalos Kagathos in collaboration with artist Cyril Zarcone at the artist-run-space ChezKit (Pantin), and A little later after the night in 2016 at the DOC (Paris). Co-founder of heiwata, a mobile curatorial structure, Elsa Delage curates exhibitions internationally. In 2016, she moved to Toronto where she works as director of operations at Cooper Cole Gallery, and co-runs the exhibition space Cassandra Cassandra.
