Aurélie Vandewynckele graduated from the Bordeaux National School of Fine Arts (2011), and received MFA in both curatorial & museum studies (UQAM & Concordia, Montreal, CA, 2014). She has collaborated with various artists as assistant, especially with Lynda Gaudreau in an extensive study at the Canadian Center of Architecture (CCA, Montreal, 2014).

Along stays between Montreal and Mexico City, she has worked at the gallery Kurimanzutto (Mexico City), The Darling Foundry (Montreal) and Artexte (Montreal). She has then participated in fairs coordination, including the Spring Break ART FAIR (New York, 2015) and Index Book Art Fair (Mexico City, 2016). She has contributed for various editorial projects such as Esse arts + opinions (Canada), Exhibit or the online platform Everything Solid (Denmark). In 2015 she was part of the curatorial research residency at the Laboratorio Arte Alameda (Mexico City). In 2016, she has cofounded the curatorial structure heiwata.
